Organoleptic description: bright burgundy red color; intense, vinous bouquet, alcoholic, ethereal and full, with distinct vanilla scents and hints of almonds and oak wood. The taste is dry, of moderate acidity, with a pleasant tannic substratum, austere and full-bodied.
The Amarone is one of the oldest Italian wines. In the fourth century A.D. Cassiodorus, king of the Goths, described a wine called Acinatico. Probably by chance, the production of a completely dry Recioto wine gave origin to this wine in the past. Having obtained the DOC Controlled Denomination of Origin certification in 1968, the Amarone wine represents a small part of the production of the Valpolicella region. Almost nothing has changed since Cassiodorus' times and the method of production has remained strictly artisan. The Amarone is a wine rich of alcohol, glycerol and resveratrol and cannot be compared to any other wine in the world, also as far as longevity is concerned. It has a bright burgundy red color, an intense bouquet and a dry taste and it is a good complement for game dishes, roasts and seasoned

BESO, Rosso Veneto IGT

Organoleptic description: The result is a deep red wine. After ageing in wood, it has a highly complex bouquet that recalls cooked ripe fruit, preserved in alcohol, dominated by plums, black cherries, raspberries, spices (especially pepper and ginger) and, due to ageing in small wooden barrels, slight notes of cocoa, liquorice and aniseed. On the palate, notes of tangy jams and spices predominate. Its natural sweet tannins are perfectly balanced with its body, giving it interesting roundness. It is very harmonious and well-structured.
Our experience of drying grapes and our passion have enabled us to obtain a wine with unique and special characteristics: a product that we expected. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, a small amount of Molinara and a minimum quantity of Merlot grapes remain for more than 90 days in well-ventilated crates. The perfectly healthy grapes are pressed when the cold winter arrives and are left to ferment in an entirely natural way. The result is a deep red wine. VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE RIPASSO DOC

On our hills, the privileged soil condition and the right proportion of the vines allow us to obtain this Valpolicella wine, which is known all over the world. With respect to the Valpolicella Classico, the Superiore denomination indicates an ageing period of at least two years. The name Ripasso derives from the technique used to obtain a wine that has a higher alcoholic content, is more colorful and full-bodied and presents a more complex bouquet. The technique consists in letting the Valpolicella Classico re-ferment on the marcs of our Amarone wine. After an appropriate ageing period in wooden barrels and a refinement period of a few months in bottle, the wine is brought to market.
Organoleptic description: ruby red to burgundy red color; delicate and intense bouquet that recalls cherries and licorice. Full, soft and harmonic taste with a slight hint of wood. A wine of body and structure.
