Weingut Gindorf – a boutique winery run by an American expat family nestled in Lieser on the Mosel. While touring Europe's wine regions our owners fell in love with the incomparable vineyards of the Mosel. The family moved from Texas to Germany and acquired the winery in 2016, where three generations of the family now work on the estate. We concentrate on the high-quality production of traditional Mosel varietals – Riesling, Weißburgunder and Spätburgunder. By using only estate-grown fruit, we produce wines which faithfully reflect our classic terroir – the sun-baked slate hills of the Mosel.

2018 Riesling feinherb

With our Riesling, we are proud to present an expressive, mineral-driven Riesling, which elegantly extend the heritage of Mosel Riesling. Fresh and aromatic, with a well-integrated acidity, this wine is ideal as an aperitif as well as with light meals and fish dishes.

2018 Riesling Auslese

Alcohol: 7.5% Residual Sugar: 77.8 g/l Acid: 7.9 g/l Stainless Steel Fermentation
With our Riesling, we are proud to present an expressive, mineral-driven Riesling, which elegantly extend the heritage of Mosel Riesling. Fresh and aromatic, with a well-integrated acidity, this wine is ideal as an aperitif as well as with light meals and fish dishes.

2018 Weissburgunder Cuvée

Alcohol: 11.5% Residual Sugar: 15.8 g/l Acid: 4.9 g/l Stainless Steel Fermentation
The record setting heat of the summer of 2018 led to rich, intensely bodied flavors in our Weissburgunder grapes. So rich that we created a Cuvee of 85% Weissburgunder and 15% Riesling in order to achieve a fresh, fruity, easy-drinking wine – truly a wine for every day enjoyment.

2018 Lieserer Niederberg Helden Riesling trocken

Alcohol: 12% Residual Sugar: 7.2 g/l Acid: 6.4 g/l Stainless Steel Fermentation
Our flagship wine ‘Lieserer Niederberg Helden Riesling trocken - alte Reben‘ comes for our premier steep vineyards and impressively expresses the powerful minerality of its terrior. It has a fine fruity character, a gently balanced acidity and shows everything a Mosel Riesling has to offer. Careful hand harvesting and dedication to quality throughout the growing season are the foundation of this Grand Cru Riesling.

2018 Spätburgunder

Alcohol: 14% Residual Sugar: 0.7 g/l Acid: 5.1 g/l Stainless Steel Fermentation
At the farthest reaches of our estate, our Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) grows on a perfect, southward facing slope. Vinified in stainless steel, this wine emphasizes the classic heritage of northern European Pinot Noir – pure slate soils that embrace the vines in warmth while also offering ideal amounts of moisture below the stony surface.

Our estate dry Riesling is perfectly in balance - the right combination of fruit-forward Mosel flavor profiles and a freshness that keeps you coming back for more. A great wine to enjoy by itself or with light meals, especially those with cream or butter-based sauces.

2018 Rivaner feinherb

A special Müller-Thurgau - which is called Rivaner on the Mosel. A fruit forward, easy drinking wine. It shows the best of the varietal, reflecting the dream summer of 2018 with an explosion of tropical fruit notes both on the nose and on the palate.
