The history of Cascina Carrà began in 1986 with the family estate of 6 hectares and subsequently conducted by Marisa and Italo, expanded with the purchase and installation of a further 7 hectares of vineyards.
The company is located in Monforte d\'Alba, Langhe Loc San Sebastiano country well known for its fine wines. Do not lead with biodynamic viticulture but we have learned and applied some of the features in our vineyards, we believe with conviction that respect for the earth, we regularly sdebitandosi parts with quality. We transform our wines combining tradition and innovation. We use both barrels for aging in oak barrels and small, the Barrique, the barrels and steel tanks.
We believe we are able to guarantee an optimal combination between quality and price. Tita - Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore
The vinification is carried in stainless steel tanks, with the submerged cap system and the maceration of the skins lasts 20 days. The fermentation temperature is controlled and maintained at about 31 ° C. The malolactic fermentation takes place during the aging in wood.
Aging: The aging lasts 36 months in small barrels of which 30 into 10 hl Slavonian oak barrels, 1 month in stainless steel tanks and 5 months in the bottle for proper development of the product before the market.
Tasting notes: intense, elegant wine with a great concentration. The colour is deep garnet. The nose explodes with ethereal and enveloping balsamic sensations, predominates the rhubarb at the beginning then with the age it turn into spices such as cinnamon and green pepper notes, white truffle and vanilla. The mouth is opulent, and rightly austere, with a great aftertaste and a silky tannins.
Alcohol: 14% to 15% depending on the year
Colibrì - Langhe Chardonnay

Vinification method: The fermentation takes place in new French oak barriques from the Allier region. After the alcoholic fermentation, always in wood, it undergoes malolactic fermentation.
Aging: completed fermentation, the wine is racked and put back in the woods on its fine lees. Here it undergoes periodic batonnage to improve the structure and aromatic complexity. The whole process takes 14 to 16 months
Organoleptic tasting notes: straw yellow color, the nose shows remarkable aromatic complexity with hints of pineapple, citrus and acacia honey. The mouthfeel is of great flavor and roundness, with a long and mineral finish.
Alcohol content: 12.5% to 14%
Serving suggestions: Ideal with fish dishes, also elaborated. Serve at 10° -12 °C.
Longevity: This wine can have a significant and positive development for 7-10 years.
